In the event of an emergency, the library has several policies and procedures to follow. The first is the Emergency Action Plan. This plan explains how to handle an active shooter or other imminent danger. The Emergency Action Plan is supplemented by the Disaster Procedures Policy, which gives specific instructions for dealing with fires, floods, storms, and other natural disasters and threats such as terrorism and bomb threats.

Please review these policies in advance and be prepared to follow them if an emergency situation occurs.
