eBrary

For any web-enabled device that supports either Adobe Digital Editions or a free Apple Store app such as Bluefire Reader.

An eBrary username and password (free) is required to transfer Ebrary eBooks to a mobile device. The eBook will disappear once the loan period ends.

Users may also install eBrary's iPhone/iPad app or their Android app.

Users may print one page per session, and document copies may be saved on a page-by-page basis for a 60 page maximum.

The free eBrary Reader plugin or the Android/iPhone app can be installed to print eBrary items if a PDF reader is not available.

Limited users (one per checked-out item).

Checkout for 14 days.

Ebooks on EbscoHost
(formerly NetLibrary)

Must download to your computer first, then transfer to your mobile device. Apple devices require Bluefire Reader .

Available for only about 25% of the titles.

Users can also install Ebsco's iPhone/iPad app, or their Android app.

60 pages or less may be printed/copied/saved per user as a PDF file from within the eBook Full Text viewer.

R2 Digital Library

Any web-enabled device can access the R2 Digital Library items, but direct download of eBooks is not allowed.

Sections of an item may be printed by users via the "Tools" icon on the top navigation bar.

OVID

Any web-enabled device can access OVID ebook items, but direct download of eBooks is not allowed.

Sections of an item may be printed or emailed, but no functionality exists for mobile devices.

Springer

Any web-enabled device can access Springer content. One session/chapter may be downloaded at a time for offline use.

One chapter/section may be printed at a time.

A full copy of any Springer title may be ordered as a print reproduction for $24.95 through Springer's MyCopy program.

 

No limit to concurrent access. Any Springer item may be downloaded as a PDF (in chapters/sessions).
